What is the best anti virus? my personal thought
I have just read an interesting article from Raymond about what is the best anti virus?, well my subjective opinion are:
- The open source. nothing is better than open sources. Although closed source is also good, but i think none can beat the open source reliability. One of many open source antiviruses is clam win that has a portable version from portableapps.com. If there is no good open source anti virus, then the second alternative is ….
- The free, nothing is better than a free antivirus. There are tons of this kind of softwares, eg: AVG (this is what i use, the free avg), avast, etc.
- The commercial ones? no i don’t believe in commercial softwares, unless the Windows OS that i admire as one of the best commercial softwares. But i think even the Windows will be beaten by Linux in next few years.
