This is a problem form many Canon Pixma IP1200 and IP1600.

Problem symptoms :

• The LED is blinking, you have to hit the Resume button to print.
• Everytime the printer prints, there will be a ink tank full message.

Solutions:
You have to reset your printer, hardwarely and softwarely:

Hardwarely:

1. Shutdown the printer, take off the power cable from power supply.
2. Push the power button and maintain your pressure.
3. Plug in the power cable.
4. Now, click the resume button twice (2X)
5. take off your power button pressure.

Softwarely:

1. Download Pixma IP1200 and IP1600 resetter from http://www.printersiam.com/data/download/ip1600st.zip.
   (for other resetter, you can visit http://www.printersiam.com/default.asp?page=download)
2. Extract the file on one folder.
3. Execute GeneralTool.exe.
4. On USB Port, choose the printer port you used.
5. Give a check on EEPROM CLEAR.
6. Now, test your printing by clicking the Test Pattern1 button.

The printer should behave correctly right now……
